These local advices services are to add patients to manage both physical and mental health issues as well as give support for carers of the elderly and young.

 

Southampton Advice and Representation Centre (SARC)

SARC provides advice and representation in welfare benefits and employment. As a registered charity they specialise in: welfare benefits and employment law advice. Their service is free, impartial and confidential. Depending on certain funding criteria they can provide a full service, from simple form filling, to representation at Social Security Tribunals and Employment Tribunals.

The Community Bladder & Bowel Service is an excellent service for patients, carers and relatives and has several different elements to the service.
